A residential proxy routes your internet traffic through a real home IP address assigned by an ISP, as opposed to a datacenter IP. Websites trust residential IPs far more than datacenter IPs because they look like normal home users. ProxyBox makes this possible by turning your actual home internet into a proxy you can access from anywhere.

ProxyBox is a small hardware device you connect to your home router. It creates a secure WireGuard tunnel to our relay infrastructure, which allows you to route traffic through your home IP from anywhere. You set it up via Bluetooth with our mobile app, and manage everything from the web dashboard. All traffic is encrypted end-to-end.

Absolutely. You are routing traffic through your own home IP address, which you are fully authorized to use. ProxyBox is essentially a personal VPN and proxy server that you own and control. It is no different from running a VPN server on your home network, just much easier to set up.

The Free tier gives you residential proxy access and 1 VPN connection, but we use a portion of your idle bandwidth to power our network. Premium ($10/month) gives you dedicated bandwidth with no sharing, 5 VPN connections, priority routing speeds, and priority support. Both tiers include the same security features.
