Yes. ProxyBox is a hardware + software product. The device sits on your home network and acts as the proxy/VPN server. Without the hardware, there's no device to route traffic through. You can create an account first and order the device later.
No bandwidth caps on either tier. Your speed is limited by your home internet connection, not by us. Premium users get priority routing when there's contention, but both tiers have unlimited data transfer.
